Dr. Diana Galvis, DDS, PC
Dr. Diana Galvis has over forty years of dental field experience. Beginning her professional journey as a dental assistant, she advanced to become a licensed dental hygienist, and currently practices as a family general dentist. She is a former Clinical Professor of Dental Hygiene and Clinical Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry. She served as a reviewer for the Journal of Operative Dentistry completeing her service in 2018. Her emphasis is on the prevention of diseases of the teeth and gums. She is a member of the Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, recognized among the top of her graduating class, is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, a member of the American Dental Association, and listed among Wayne Magazine's Top Dentists since 2013.
Dr. Galvis holds a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Farleigh Dickinson University, an M.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and a D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Galvis is a passionate advocate of oral health care. She is past president of the Hispanic Dental Association and the Passaic County Dental Society. She served as member of the Board of Trustee for the Passaic County Dental Society and has served as a delegate for the American Dental Association. The emphasis of her dental practice is on conservative approaches to achieving oral health uitlizing a philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry. Her office offers a friendly family oriented environment that meets the highest standards of infection control, an on-site dental laboratory, and extended office hours.
